Practice. Comparison. Driving feel. Learning in motion.

How do you convey a vehicle not only through facts, but through real experience?
That was precisely the ambition and guiding principle of the product training for the new Clio for Renault Switzerland.

26 cantons – one shared experience

At two locations in Switzerland, the basic concept from France was adopted and consistently adapted to regional conditions. The result was a training format that combines structure with dynamism and places theory where it makes sense: between steering wheel, road and exchange.

Learning through movement

The core of the training consisted of two different driving routes with a total of 10 vehicles. 5 Renault Clio and 5 competitor models were used – a setup that enabled direct, like-for-like comparison:

  • Clio drive:
A pure Clio drive in which participants were guided to defined target points via QR codes. Along the way, tasks related to driving dynamics had to be completed – intuitively, practically and with direct feedback from the driving experience.
  • Competitor drive:
Five selected competitor were compared directly. The aim was not only to understand the hybrid system theoretically, but to consciously experience and assess it in real driving conditions.

Structure meets exchange

The drives were complemented by:

  • a product workshop focusing on design, technology and points of differentiation
  • a sales workshop ensuring transfer into advisory practice, in which different group tasks were carried out around existing customer retention and new customer acquisition.

The didactic design deliberately focused on balance:
practical and theoretical components were very well balanced, and exchange among participants was explicitly planned and encouraged.

Stations that create movement

The training design included:

  • 2 dynamic outdoor stations
  • 2 static indoor stations

This created a learning rhythm that kept attention high and addressed different learning types equally.

Figures that demonstrate impact

  • 240 participants
  • 3 languages
  • 6 trainers
  • 3 hosts
  • 5 event days
  • 8,000 kilometres driven
  • 4.7 stars average feedback

The clear structure, strong practical relevance and the opportunity to directly reflect on experiences together were highlighted particularly positively.

Conclusion

This product training impressively demonstrated what is possible when driving dynamics, product knowledge and sales argumentation are dynamically interlinked.
The Clio was not explained – it was experienced. And that is exactly where conviction is created that resonates in the showroom.

When learning is allowed to become an experience and products are meant to be tangible, we look forward to exchanging with you. We are only a few clicks away.
