E-mobility over long distances – a matter of mindset?
A key area for Formation4You: e-mobility – a topic that moves many, yet is still surrounded by numerous myths. In addition to facts and figures, Formation4You relies on storytelling – and what’s more authentic than one’s own experience:
Hubert Ortner, founder and CEO of Formation4You, had his first experiences with e-mobility in 1991 – at a Renault Austria event for the planting of the “Clio Forest” in the province of Salzburg, using a Renault Master Electric.
In 2011, large-scale training on electric vehicles began in Europe. Then in 2014, the switch to the Renault Zoe. Initially a second car – but eventually, a shift in mindset occurred. Today, he drives around 70,000 kilometres per year fully electric. Why? Because an agile mindset makes the difference. Because he learned to plan charging times and use the infrastructure that is already there.
Those who understand and embrace it are rewarded with a new driving experience. E-mobility isn’t a limitation – it’s an invitation to change.
Special focus on the event’s two main sponsors:
Mobec, provider of a powerful Dealer Management System, and autolina.ch, the Swiss platform for the used car trade, presented themselves in brief interviews. Both used the stage to share insights into their solutions and developments – practical, future-oriented, and open to questions from the audience.
Structure, multilingualism & setting the tone
Hubert Ortner was not only asked to give a talk on the future of mobility, but also to guide participants through the two-hour programme. With attention to a clear schedule and a smooth flow, every agenda item had space – and attendees felt well integrated and appreciated thanks to the structured format. Simultaneous translation into French ensured full participation for everyone.
A strong signal from Lucerne
Feedback from the dealer network was overwhelmingly positive. Not just because of the content – but because it became clear: Those who engage in exchange stay agile. Those who remain open can evolve. And those who welcome the new will find ways that last, even in times of change.
