Specialist training from Formation4You for the launch of the new Renault ZOE 400 in Switzerland

February 2017: To mark the launch of the new Renault ZOE 400 in the electric vehicle sector, from 30th January to 3rd February the year, a large-scale specialist training course was held at Spreitenbach Umwelt Arena in the Swiss canton of Aargau.

The Formation4You team of trainers, which is led by Hubert Ortner, Sabine Blum and Olivier Pagès, presented the innovations and advantages of the 100% electrically powered Renault ZOE to some 100 German and French speaking attendees from the network of Renault dealers in Switzerland and Vorarlberg. They include the new Z.E. 40 battery, with an NEDC range of up to 403 kilometers, and the newly optimized and networked R-LINK Evolution multimedia system.

In comparison of competitors, those attending the seminar weren’t just able to find out about the engine and price differences, but also about the wide range of charging options as well as the options for purchasing and renting batteries for electric vehicles.

To allow the attendees to fully immerse themselves in the world of electric mobility, extensive test drives were also available with the ZOE 400 and its competitors – on both country roads and the motorway. In temperatures which were sometimes well below freezing, the participants got to “experience” the “real” range of the new ZOE 400 on their own.

Im Zuge der Schulung konnten die Teilnehmer bei einer rund einstündigen Führung einen ersten Eindruck von den vielfältigen Möglichkeiten der Umweltarena gewinnen.

During the training, the participants were able to gain an initial impression of the wide range of possibilities offered by the Umwelt Arena during a guided tour which lasted approximately one hour.

Nach ca. 140 km Fahrt über Autobahn und Überland wurden die Fahrer mit den besten Verhältniswerten „Höchste Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit bei gleichzeitig geringstem Durchschnittsverbrauch“ prämiert.

After driving for approximately 140 km on the motorway and on country roads, the drivers with the best ratios for “highest average speed an lowest average consumption” were presented with prizes.

Mittels Navigationssystem konnten die Teilnehmer die Probefahrten ohne „Bevormundung“ durch ein Vorausfahrzeug genießen.

With the use of a navigation system, the participants were able to enjoy the test drives without being “patronised” by a lead vehicle.
