But the training still works.<\/strong><\/h1>\n

In the process of planning a training, much can be foreseen, but not everything.<\/p>\n

Recently, during a product training session for the new MG S6, we found ourselves in this exact situation.
We had planned an in-person training session with vehicles for our client, but they were simply not delivered on time. <\/p>\n

The question arose: Cancel the training, or make the best of the situation?<\/p>\n

3x 60 minutes. 75 salespeople. No car. <\/strong><\/h2>\n

In particular with a brand new model, training thrives on experiencing the car live and answering questions directly on the product. And this is precisely what was physically impossible this time. <\/p>\n

Canceling would have surely been the easy way out.
But definitely not the right one. Because in everyday dealership life, things rarely run smoothly. And that is precisely why training must be able to reflect situations as they really happen. <\/p>\n

Didactics instead of improvised quick fixes<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We consciously decided against a makeshift solution and instead built a didactically well-thought-out alternative format.<\/p>\n

From the client’s existing documents, an interactive training session was created in no time:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Live quiz sequences in which absolutely everyone was actively involved<\/li>\n
  • Objection handling from real sales practice<\/li>\n
  • Competitor comparisons that directly prepare for customer conversations<\/li>\n
  • Active discussion instead of frontal lectures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The salespeople did not become listeners, but rather participants.<\/p>\n

    And that is exactly what worked. There was no additional effort for the client: <\/p>\n

    • Didactic preparation<\/li>\n
    • Structure of the training<\/li>\n
    • Development of quiz formats<\/li>\n
    • Integration of typical sales objections<\/li>\n
    • Comparison with relevant competitors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Thus, a potential cancellation turned into a lively, practice-oriented training unit.<\/p>\n

      Training begins where reality happens<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      Especially in sales, the following applies:
      Customer conversations rarely go according to plan.<\/p>\n

      Why should training only work when all framework conditions are perfect?<\/p>\n

      Good training consists not only of specialist knowledge, but of didactics, flexibility, and the ability to turn any situation into a learning moment.<\/p>\n
